Thanks for the tip. The frustrating part about blogging is that you really have to commit time and effort to it especially the link building part and market your blog on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. I guess, what makes it difficult for me is that I do not have the privilege of time to concentrate in promoting my blog since I also have another life outside of blogging that pays the bills. I find your article very motivational and it inspires me to think that there is chance for me to actually get something for my blogging efforts. Hope I can learn more about the backlinks building and all that ranking stuff because nowadays it is not just the quality of writing, it is more of how you can achieve good ranking to get noticed. Don’t Spend Your Time Exclusively on Your Blog Once you start getting noticed in your niche then brands might start reaching out to you to discuss ways that you can “work together”. Be ready when this happens and have ideas and packages for how you can help their brand reach your audience AND vice versa. If you partner with the right brands it will benefit you as well, since they will share your content and email their followers about you as well. I’ve been able to generate a ton of blog followers through a few partnerships with big brands. Another benefit of big brands is that they likely have big budgets, which means they have more money to spend to work with you. My largest brand partnership was a $50,000 deal for 2 months that required very little of my time and was a win-win for both my brand partner and my audience. One piece of advice – most brands will want to start small with you but don’t undersell yourself. If a brand is reaching out to you they want to work with you, so be willing to negotiate. A few of the early brand deals I did I really undersold myself and they ended up being a ton of work. Over time you should look to create longer-term brand partnerships that are mutually beneficial and can become consistent forms of revenue for your platform. You have to pick a topic for your blog. What’s it about? Marketing? Health? Gardening? Many are tempted to start a blog that combines several of their interests, but I recommend keeping blog as focused as possible. (It would make no sense to talk about gardening and marketing on the same blog, after all.) Sep 23, 2014 @ 15:22:42 Customer Review: Trust continues to be a major issue on the World Wide Web between bloggers and readers. Readers want to see bloggers posting lots and lots of meaningful content to their sites on a daily basis and giving them something to think about. It’s relatively easy for a person to post once a week and expect readers to be converted into repeat buyers when that’s certainly not the case toward being a successful and profitable blogger. Creating quality content and putting people first puts a full-time or part-time blogger in the front seat to earning honest and passive incomes from affiliate marketing. how to make money blogging
